Close Protection

Close protection officers (bodyguards) are highly trained individuals tasked to ensure the safety of their principals (and sometimes the principal’s family). Close protection (CP) officers may be employed on an ad hoc or permanent basis. There are generally two styles of CP officers: Overt Officers and Covert Officers that we can supply.

1) Overt CP Officers – Overt officers are easy to identify as their visible presence is used as a method of deterrence. They are usually very close to the principal enabling them to manage all unwanted interactions the principal may encounter.

2) Discrete CP Officers – Discrete officers are difficult to identify and have the specific intention of blending in with the environment. Examples of where a discrete CP officer may be used may be when the principal feels that having CP is intrusive or when companies are concerned that the image of senior executives with CP would hurt the business.
