David created his security consultancy in August 2020 following an extensive security career spanning more than 30 years at Community Security Trust (CST), a registered charity responsible for the safety and security of the UK Jewish Community. In 2013, David was appointed Chief Executive of CST, overseeing the security needs of the UK Jewish Community at a time of increased terrorism both in the UK and around the world as well as a major increase in antisemitic acts faced by the Jewish community.

David oversaw extensive physical security upgrades at Jewish community buildings including synagogues, schools, and communal organisations as well as the creation and development of a 24/7 National Security Control Centre which received praise from senior police and government officials.

With a specific focus on threats from terrorism and antisemitism, David is highly skilled at planning and managing security at high-profile events across the UK held in public venues including hotels, theatres, conference centres, and outdoor street events. David has a wealth of experience in the protection of ultra-high-net-worth and high-profile individuals as well as the protection of their families, residences, offices and travel needs. Throughout David’s career, he worked closely with police forces across the UK, the Government, Parliamentarians from all sides of the political spectrum and local authorities.

Following attacks on places of worship around the world, and with David’s desire to enable other faith communities to benefit from CST’s decades of experience, David was honoured to have been invited by the police and the Mayor of London to share his extensive knowledge of security at places of worship with other faith organisations and he has delivered briefings to these groups on numerous occasions.

David is an active member of The Security Institute (MSyI) – the UK’s largest professional body for security professionals.
